Settings — System
Navigate to: Settings → System
What it shows: Low-level infrastructure configuration — database backend, object storage, and system maintenance operations.
Database section:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Provider | SQLite (default) or PostgreSQL |
| Connection URL | Full database connection string |
| Test Connection | Verify connectivity before saving |
| Vacuum | Reclaim space in SQLite; VACUUM ANALYZE in PostgreSQL |
| Integrity Check | Run PRAGMA integrity_check (SQLite) or consistency checks (PostgreSQL) |
Step-by-step: Migrate from SQLite to PostgreSQL
- Navigate to Settings → System.
- Under Database, select PostgreSQL.
- Enter the connection URL:
postgresql://user:password@host:5432/agentwatch. - Click Test Connection — must return green before saving.
- Click Save — AgentWatch restarts its database connection. Existing data is not migrated automatically; run
prisma migrateexternally first.
Storage section:
| Provider | Required fields |
|---|---|
| Local | Filesystem path (e.g., /app/data/storage) |
| AWS S3 | Bucket name, region, access key, secret key |
| Google Cloud Storage | Bucket name, service account JSON |
How to test (database): After changing the connection URL, send a GET /health request — the database field in the response should show ok and the correct provider name.
API endpoints:
