User Dashboard — Overview

Navigate to: Overview (visible to all logged-in users)

What it does: The personal dashboard that every end-user sees when they log in. It provides a real-time snapshot of the user’s own AI usage, budget health, agent connection status, and session tokens for tool integration. Admins and managers see the analytics/management sidebar instead; regular users land here by default.

Key panels:

Panel Description
Quick Stats Four stat cards: Total Requests, Tokens Used, Active Keys, Budget Left
Budget Status Daily and monthly budget progress bars with spent/remaining amounts
Recent Activity Live feed of the user’s last AI requests
Usage Trend Bar chart of daily requests over the last 7 days
My AgentWatch Connect Shows whether the desktop agent is connected; links to download macOS/Windows/Linux installers and displays the one-command setup string
My Session Token Create and manage sess_<uuid> tokens for use as API keys in VS Code, Cursor, Cline, or any OpenAI-compatible tool

Step-by-step — checking your budget:

  1. Log in. The Overview page loads automatically.
  2. The Quick Stats row shows your budget remaining in the fourth card.
  3. Scroll to Budget Status for a detailed daily and monthly breakdown with colour-coded progress bars (green → amber → red as you approach the limit).

Step-by-step — setting up AgentWatch Connect:

  1. In the My AgentWatch Connect panel, click the download link for your platform (macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel, Windows x64, or Linux x64).
  2. Install the downloaded application.
  3. Copy the Quick Setup command shown in the panel (a one-liner containing your personal token and gateway URL).
  4. Open a terminal on your machine and paste the setup command. The agent registers itself and begins routing your AI traffic through the company gateway.
  5. Reload the Overview page — the status indicator changes from “No agent connected” to a green connected state.

Step-by-step — creating a session token:

  1. In the My Session Token panel, click New Token.
  2. Copy the generated sess_<uuid> value.
  3. In your AI tool (VS Code Copilot, Cursor, Cline, etc.):
    • Set API Key → paste the session token.
    • Set Base URL → use the gateway URL shown in the panel.
  4. The tool now routes through AgentWatch, subject to all DLP, budget, and audit policies.

How to test: Log in as a regular user (non-admin). You should see the Overview page, not the Observability dashboard. Make one API call using your API key. Reload the page — the Total Requests stat card should increment by 1 and the Recent Activity feed should show the new entry.
