Overview
Generate Enterprise is a self-hosted AI platform from Iterate.ai that lets teams ask questions in plain language and get accurate, sourced answers drawn from their organization’s own documents, data, and connected tools. It combines grounded AI chat, a searchable knowledge base, custom AI agents, a visual workflow builder, and 60+ integrations, running in an environment the organization controls with a choice of AI models.
Who is Generate Enterprise for?

What can Generate Enterprise do?
Section titled “What can Generate Enterprise do?”- Chat & SuperAgent — grounded conversations with attachments, voice input, web search, and cited sources; a page-aware SuperAgent opened with Cmd/Ctrl+K.
- Knowledge Base — upload PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV, text, Markdown, and image files (200 MB each) and search them by meaning.
- AI Agents & Workflow Builder — build agents in plain English or a visual drag-and-drop builder; run them on a schedule or over HTTP.
- Skills — package and reuse expertise across chats, agents, and projects.
- Artifacts — generate interactive dashboards, charts, and diagrams, plus downloadable Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files.
- Projects — scope knowledge, chats, and agents into shareable workspaces.
- Integrations — 60+ connectors plus SQL databases and custom MCP servers.
- Security & administration — Single Sign-On (Okta/OIDC), role-based access, and admin-controlled data.
Which AI models does Generate support?
Section titled “Which AI models does Generate support?”Administrators enable models from multiple providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Mistral, Cohere, AWS Bedrock, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and Interplay (Generate’s private LLM) — and users pick a model per chat. The default model is Claude Sonnet 4.5.
How is Generate Enterprise deployed?
